This Secret is Getting Too Big To Hide

I’m a pretty open book when it comes to most things. But from time to time, there are some elements of life that are better kept private - even if just temporarily. But it’s time for my secret to be shared. It’s, quite literally, becoming too big to hide. And that’s because…

I AM PREGNANT AGAIN!!!

Yes, you heard correctly. For the fourth time in four years, I am cookin’ up another little one to add to the crew. If you know my family, you probably are aware that we have 3 little girls already - ages 4, 2.5 and 1. We don’t know what our next baby will be yet, but are very excited to find out soon! While another little girl would be so sweet (and definitely convenient) to add to the line-up, a little boy would absolutely change the game! I’ve been a “girl mom” for so long, that I can’t really imagine what it’d be like to have something different! But we are so so excited, and extremely grateful to be able to add another child to our family. (And are anxiously anticipating finding out at our upcoming gender reveal!)

It’s not easy doing four back-to-back pregnancies (heck, it’s not easy doing ONE!), but I truly believe children are the greatest gift, and being able to grow our family has not only been planned, but prayed for.

Over the years, we’ve inevitably gotten a variety of colorful, unsolicited opinions about our choice to have a large family quickly. But you need to live your own life! We know that, and are confident with our decisions and family planning. It’s not for everyone though, and that’s okay. But just a reminder that we all have our own path, and it’s important to try and not judge others for their decisions on either end of the spectrum when it comes to children, or to put our personal fears or insecurities on others either. Every person, and every family is different with their own unique circumstances - some you may understand, and others you may never even know about. Let's celebrate our differences and empower each other to fulfill our own dreams in all aspects of life! 

In any case, I’m feeling good, and besides being joyfully exhausted, April cannot come soon enough!
